Coach Imants Jaunarajs (pronounced E-mants YAWN-a-rice) joined the Centennial coaching staff as the Varsity Head Coach in 2008. He was born and raised in Denver, Colo., and played with the Colorado Rush from the club's inception, winning three state championships. He attended Earlham College and captained the Quakers to their best NCAA ranking and most wins within a four-year span. Imants has coached high school, premier, Y League, and PDL soccer teams. A former personal trainer and prison substance abuse counselor, he currently works at the University of Illinois. Imants Holds a USSF “D” license. Jaunarajs replaced Coach Cole Bushue who left to become staff coach of the Chicago Magic. |

Kip McDaniel joins the boys' soccer coaching staff at Centennial this Fall (2009). A graduate of Illinois State University, Kip received his degree in Recreation Management in 2006. For the past year he has served as a Member Service Manager and a Schwinn Certified Cycling Instructor at Refinery in Champaign. He also worked for Champaign Park District as a Youth Sports Coordinator and is part of the Emerging Community Leaders program with United Way. Kip is currently the Program Director at Savoy Recreation Center. Born and raised in Champaign, Kip has always had a passion for sports, fitness, and fun. Kip’s coaching background includes several years with Little Illini Soccer Club, management at Illinois State University, and recognition in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. He recently became a Certified Personal Trainer of American Fitness Institute. |
